Ozone therapy

What is Ozone Therapy?

Ozone therapy is a medical technique that uses a mixture of oxygen (O₂) and ozone (O₃) to achieve therapeutic effects on various organs and tissues of the body. Medical ozone has a powerful yet controlled effect: it stimulates oxygenation, modulates the immune system, reduces inflammation, and improves circulation.

It is a natural, non-invasive therapy with very few side effects, used both in the medical field (for pain, inflammation, immunity) and in aesthetic medicine (for cellulite, hair loss, rejuvenation).

How does it work?

Ozone is administered in various ways, depending on the disorder being treated:

  • Major autohemoinfusion: A small amount of blood is drawn, enriched with ozone, and then reinfused. This is the most commonly used method for systemic treatments.
  • Local infiltrations: Ozone is injected into a specific area (e.g., shoulder, back, knee) to reduce pain and inflammation.
  • Rectal insufflation: Ozone is administered rectally to target the intestines, liver, and systemic inflammation.
  • Aesthetic applications: Microinjections for the face, body, and scalp.

In all forms, ozone does not accumulate in the body but works by stimulating natural biological functions and is eliminated quickly.

When is ozone therapy useful?

1. When you have joint or muscle pain

If you suffer from neck pain, lower back pain, sciatica, herniated discs, osteoarthritis, or tendon inflammation, ozone works by reducing inflammation, relaxing muscles, and improving mobility.

Results are often visible after the first few sessions.

2. When you feel tired and exhausted

Ozone improves cellular oxygenation, increasing energy and vitality. It is useful for chronic fatigue, mental fatigue, or post-illness recovery.

It is also excellent during seasonal changes or periods of high stress.

3. When you want to strengthen your immune system

It stimulates the production of white blood cells and increases the immune system. It is recommended for those who are frequently ill, suffer from recurrent infections (herpes, candidiasis, cystitis), or want to prevent flu and relapses.

4. When you want to improve circulation

It helps with venous insufficiency, heavy legs, swelling, or water retention. It improves microcirculation and tissue oxygenation.

5. When you want to treat blemishes (cellulite, wrinkles, hair)

In aesthetic medicine, ozone is used to:

  • Reduce cellulite and improve orange peel skin
  • Tighten tissue and stimulate collagen
  • Combat hair loss
  • Give the face radiance and tone

It does not alter volume, but improves skin quality naturally.

The benefits of ozone therapy

  • Anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect
  • Increases energy and concentration
  • Stimulates the immune system
  • Improves circulation
  • Promotes detoxification
  • Antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal action
  • Natural support in many medical and integrative therapies

How does a session take place? Does it hurt?

No, it’s not painful.

The sessions last about 20–30 minutes. The infiltrations may cause only mild discomfort. After the treatment, you can immediately return to your normal activities.

Why try it at least once?

Because it makes you feel better naturally, has a profound effect on multiple aspects of your well-being, and can help where other treatments have failed. It’s a modern, safe, customizable, and truly effective tool, with a tangible impact on your quality of life.
